This website
describes the
"fonetik"
remedial spelling
system originally
published and
endorsed by New
Zealand's Special
Education Service.
Written by one of
its school
psychologists,
Craig Cameron
Jackson,
it teaches failing
spellers aged 8 and
above
how to spell a word
phonetically, 'just
as it sounds' in
order to produce a
decipherable
spelling, that can be
read and understood,
just as well as a
correctly-spelt word.
It is the easiest to
teach remedial
spelling system yet
devised, utilising
electronic word
processing
technologies. |
